The Railyard Condos is a residential community that is served by the Austin Independent School District (ISD). With a district-wide enrollment of over 84,500 students, the residents of Railyard Condos are assigned to Matthews Elementary School for kindergarten through 5th grade, O. Henry Middle School for grades 6 to 8, and Stephen F. Austin High School for grades 9 to 12.
Downtown Austin also provides several highly regarded private schools for parents seeking alternate schooling options. Among them are Kirby Hall School, The Girls School of Austin, and The Khabele School. A number of private academies exist that offer religious educations or Montessori curriculums for students.
