All of the nightlife and amenities of Austin are a 34-mile commute into town.

Jonestown Schools

Lago Vista ISD and Leander ISD both serve residents of Jonestown. Students who live east of Easy St. are designated to attend schools within Leander ISD, while students who reside west of Easy St. are assigned to Lago Vista ISD. Younger students attend Lago Vista (K-5) and CC Mason Elementary (K-5) while Lago Vista Middle (6-8) and Running Brushy Middle (6-8) are the assigned schools for area “tweens”. Lago Vista (9-12) and Leander High School (9-12) serve the older students. Summit Christian Academy (K-12) is one private school option located very close by.

Higher education campuses are also easily accessible for college aged students living at home while attending Concordia University, The University of Texas at Austin, St. Edward’s University and Austin Community College (ACC).
