North Austin Neighborhoods

North Austin consists of established communities, nestled among green tree-lines and lush greenbelts such as Walnut Creek. The mid-century charm of many of the neighborhoods are picturesque and most homes in this area feature mature trees, spacious floor plans, and big lots. Austin ISD serves students living in North Austin with 13 elementary schools, 6 middle schools, and 4 high schools. AISD has a district-wide enrollment of over 84,500 students and assigns students to schools in accordance to where their residence is located.

North Austin Montessori, Brentwood Christian School, and the Magellan International School offer private and religious education opportunities to parents seeking alternate schooling options for their children.
