The Greater Austin Area explosive growth has made all housing close to downtown desirable, and few regions offer neighborhoods with such easy access to downtown and the city center as Central Austin.

AISD determines which schools that students will attend based on where their residence is located within a region.

Private and religious schooling options are also readily available for parents that seek alternate educational opportunities for their children.
