Canyon Creek Neighborhood

Canyon Creek is a master planned community with lots of amenities.

The neighborhood is located in ZIP Code 78726 and is bordered by Farm To Market 2222 (FM2222) on the south, Ranch Road 620 North (RR620) on the west, Anderson Mill Road on the north, and a major headwater tributary of Bull Creek to the east as well as the Balcones Canyonland Preserve.

The neighborhood lies approximately 5 miles from both Lake Travis and Lake Austin. Ranch Road 620 runs into the new toll roads of State Highway 45 at Lakeline Mall. Fast ways to get downtown is by taking 620 to 183 and going south. Another fast route is taking 620 to 2222 and then onto 360 to the left or the right. Canyon Creek also enjoys convenient highway access to southern Austin and a quick route to both the airport or Interstate-35 to San Antonio and Waco.

Canyon Creek Schools

Canyon Creek residents are served by two different public school districts: Round Rock ISD and Leander ISD. Students are assigned to respective schools depending upon where they live within Creek Canyon. The Round Rock ISD schools that serve Canyon Creek are Canyon Creek Elementary, Grisham Middle School, and Westwood High School.

The Leander ISD schools that serve Canyon Creek are Grandview Hills Elementary, Canyon Ridge Middle School, and Cedar Park High School.

Many area private schools are available for parents seeking alternate education opportunities for their children including Montessori and religious schools, as well as daycare centers. The Concordia University of Austin is also located in Northwest Austin.
