Leander Schools
The residents of Leander are served by the Leander Independent School District (ISD). With a district-wide enrollment of approximately 38,200 students, Leander ISD consists of 42 schools that serve students in grade K through 12. The small nature of Leander makes for intimate classrooms. Leander ISD is acclaimed and ranked as one of the finest in the region.
Private, Montessori and religious schools also exist for parents interested in alternate education options for their children. Founders Classical Academy is a tuition-free charter school located near downtown that serves students from grades K through 12.
