Georgetown Neighborhoods
Located approximately 26 miles from downtown Austin, Georgetown is a straight shot drive on I-35 into the city, and also enjoys access to the 130 Tollway to provide residents a way to avoid pockets of traffic during rush hour. The city is a next door neighbor to Round Rock and only seventeen miles East of Cedar Park, making many of the Austin area’s neighborhood communities at Georgetown’s finger tips.
A number of truly historical homes and properties dot the landscape in Georgetown, particularly in and around the town square, where old world charm abounds with residences and businesses alike.

Georgetown Schools
Georgetown neighborhoods are served by the Leander Independent School District (ISD). With a district-wide enrollment of over 10,000 students, Georgetown ISD consists of ten elementary schools, three middle schools, and three high schools. The district maintains two alternative schools.
Private education opportunities are available for all student age groups from religious and Montessori schools in the Georgetown area. Parents also have access to a few highly regarded private academic institutions that serve both Round Rock and Georgetown.
