Dripping Springs Schools
Dripping Springs neighborhoods are served by the Dripping Springs Independent School District (ISD). With a district-wide enrollment of over 5,400 students, Dripping Springs ISD consists of four elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. The district has an outstanding reputation for the high achievements of its students in both academics and athletics. Dripping Springs ISD was also selected as a state finalist for the H-E-B Excellence in Education Large District of the Year Award for two consecutive years (2014 and 2015).
In addition to Dripping Springs, the school district serves the community of Bear Creek and rural areas in northwestern Hays County. A small portion of southwestern Travis County also falls under the jurisdiction of Dripping Springs ISD.
