One of the reasons that I have chosen to use the zip code as a screening device for you when you search for Austin Real Estate is because there are several Internet sources that uses Zip Codes rather than area names. In fact, if you look at Zillow's information you will also notice that they do not use the same Austin Real Estate neighborhood names that you will see here and on this website or other websites such as www.smallplanetguide.com.
However, even as simple as it may sound, there is still value in knowing where zip codes lie in relationship to other zip codes and other natural boundaries and man-made boundaries. This type of knowledge helps you get the geographically picture of a particular zip code. For example, if you know that a certain zip code has lots of hills and you want to live in an area where there are hills, you could begin your search in one of the least known zip codes and find an affordable alternative to the better know zip codes.
This area is really an overflow area for Northwest Austin residents. However, as time continues to progress Cedar Park is definitely developing its own character, as its own city.
